Metresan Ölçü Aletleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is established in 1979 to produce top quality short and long measuring tapes,in Turkey under the licence of Fisco Tools Ltd. The first five years METRESAN produced only the 2m, 3m, 5m short tapes and in 1984 began to produce 20m, 30m and 50m long measuring tapes. In 1985 METRESAN add to its range of production Pro-Level aluminium spirit levels. METRESAN moved in 1992 to its new 2000m², Dudullu factory. With is new equipment METRESAN have daily capacity of 6000 pcs. of short tapes and 400 pcs. of aluminyum sprit levels. Turkish leading measuring tapes manufacturer, METRESAN is a registered company under the Turkish Standards TS 9505 Quality Assurance Scheme. METRESAN is the representive and distributor of steel and aluminyum rules from France, Hultafors wooden folding rules from Sweden and KDS trimming cutters from Japan
